Located in a historic building in the Financial District our client is expanding and has signed a lease, adding a new floor.
The client expressed interest in doing something different on this floor. In the initial project they were a start up with a tight timeline and a strict budget. For this phase, the client was interested in exploring different options and was inspired by the 60's "mad men" style and also wanted to create "neighborhoods."After a few programming meetings and few rounds of drawings they ultimately decided to keep the workstations benching with one horizon. Rather than adding full height permanent partitions we incorporated a new product that allows mounting and powering of multiple TV screens and can act as a room divider with optional screens. The versatility of the product will allow them to increase functionality in the future by adding work surfaces or suspended shelves.
This project was complete in December 2014.
